Scott F. Handelman, Esq., was born in New York City. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison and the University of California, Berkeley, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in December 1972. He attended Golden Gate University School of Law (San Francisco), and has been practicing law in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1986.

Mr. Handelman began his career as a research attorney for the Alameda County Superior Court. He is a member of both the Alameda and Contra Costa County Bar Associations, and is a member of the Lawyers Referral Service for both counties.

Mr. Handelman represents individuals and businesses in
real estate, business, employment and personal injury matters. In all cases, he strives for an efficient, just and reasonable resolution of his clients' legal issues.  Mr. Handelman is experienced in both jury trials and all the alternative methods of dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Thorsten L. Arteaga, Esq. received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993 and his J.D. from John F. Kennedy University School of Law in 1999.  Mr. Arteaga is admitted to practice law in all California courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Arteaga is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, as well as its referral panel. He is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the American Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Arteaga has considerable litigation and arbitration experience with business, employment, real estate transaction and construction defect matters.  He routinely assists clients with the negotiation and drafting of employment, commercial sales and real estate contracts contracts, as well as with the formation, maintenance and dissolution of various business entities.
